There is something wrong with the link to next chapter, it reverses to the previous chapter instead.

  • The link in the mail linked to I’ve les astray the villain, haha.

Hmmm. Nan Feng is such a reliable subordinate, he was willing to expose himself to save Xie Lian!

Obviously San Lang is upset because XL was Hurt because of him. How nice!

    Thanks for the chapter!

  • thank you for chapter~~
ooh and is it easy to MTl? >w<

  • Ahhh San Lang. How mad he was at that snake and himself! Poor Guy.

I really like Xie Lien. This poor guy has the worst luck, but he never complains. He has built up hos strength and stamina not from being a musclebound meathead, but from simply surviving awful circumstances over and over and over and over. He’s really a saint. I have a soft spot for cinnamon rolls like this. No wonder San Lang and the generals can leave him alone.

Thank you so much for the translation! I love this story so much!

  • Thanks for the chapter! i hope you did well in your exams!

  • Thank you for the update! I find the angry San Lang to be so adorable. Our MC doesn’t know it yet as to why he’s mad but I’m looking forward to the future revelation. Ahh~

  • Thank you so much for all your hard work. This is such a great story. Please be sure to take care of yourselves so you don’t burnout (it’s so tough being a student… I really can’t thank you enough for doing all this for us fans).

  • Thanks for the chapter! Can we know when the next one will be out?

  • Thank you so much for the chapter!!! I adore your redaction!!! I hope you like your new residence =)

  • Thanks for the translation! I adore them.

  • I wonder if we will get an answer for why Xie is so unlucky or if it just his fate to be so unlucky.

  • 22 chapters in and I am starting to feel that Xie Lian is Damsel in distress! IS he not a Martial arts god? Even General Xuan Ji is more fierce that XL! They even drew him so effeminate in the official Manhua and animation series! The only thing lacking was in chest area and one won’t be able to tell him for actual female characters! And Hua Cheng, he feels too stalkiest and a comment in previous chap even hinted that he’s the baby who was saved by Xie Lian! So his story arch is already weak; his reason for interest inXL is only due to being saved by him? When i read the preview I was very intrigued, but this now seems like a this is a very rundown troop! I guess GDC really set the bar high.

I’ve reread this manhua way too many times but I never once saw Dianxia a damsel in distress, because even if he did, he can save himself without needing anybody, because he is a martial god. And he was only seventeen when he took age of immortality, so he looks young and of course he looks pretty! He’s the crown prince who pleased the gods! Xuan Ji is fierce because of her evil resentment, but Xie Lian is much more capable, you haven’t seen him in battle yet. And you haven’t even seen the pain he’s suffered, that’s why he is used to pain, and that’s what hurts the most. Sorry for the outburst, I just can’t stand dianxia being criticized for like a weakling, he’s the strongest person for me, and he puts others first before himself.

It is more than clear that you lack reading comprehension in the aspects that will affect you. Xie Lian is not a damsel in distress, during all those 800 years he had no one else to count on other than himself to defend against any difficulties. Take into account the cursed shackles that take good luck away from him and also leaves him without spiritual powers, he is like a mortal without good luck and he had only himself during those years, not Hua cheng, HC just arrived. Speaking of something else, you still haven’t read Hua Cheng’s past or why he was there when Xie Lian saved him so please let’s not judge. Sorry for the exaltation but this is a novel in which the author put too much dedication and effort for someone who is biased by another novel to come, not read and analyze enough and criticize it. GDC is great, I love it, but not just because this isn’t GDC we have to reach quick conclusions that are not even right. Sorry again, but we have to analyze more

  • Ship ship ship! 🚤🛳🚀

    • I literally wrote the same thing! I agree I already am curious of their background and want to see them interact with love 😄💅

  • I kinda ship Ban yue grand tutor and the lady in black

  • No matter what kind of pain it was, he would just let it hurt and hurt until he became used to it. Reading this makes my heart ache for Xie Lan. He deserves the best in the world.
